A REPORT ON THE PROGRESS OF DONATIONS TO THE KIBBUSE FOUNDATION, UGANDA, 2005.

We record the  DATE  of donations (in £ English pounds) notified to us that have been transferred to UDS Uganda Development Services (UK Charity No. 1040271).  UDS transfer the money at the beginning of each month, plus any amount due from Gift Aid, to their Uganda office for the benefit of The Kibbuse Foundation to be paid into their bank account.  When we have news of the money being  RECEIVED  (in Uganda Shillings) we record it here also.  There are over 3,000 Uganda shillings to the £ pound.

The first TARGET was 35,000,000 Uganda shillings to purchase the main building used by the Kibbuse Foundation.  This was reached (with the help of the donation from the USA) in June.  The Sale Agreement was signed on 2 July 2005.  Another 2,000,000 shillings (about £600) has been spent on new tyres for the project Suzuki vehicle, renovations and furniture.
