In order to maximise income we have sorted out a way of using an existing UK charity that can act as an "umbrella" for our charitable giving without having to register ourselves as a charity, which would have taken at least 88 days according to the Charity Commissioners.
Michael has discovered an excellent and appropriate charity which support projects in Uganda and has already set up an arrangement with them. It requires any UK tax paying donor to fill in a Gift Aid form, with advice as to whom to make the cheque payable. Please contact Michael if you need more information.
